Kerangka kerja transdisipliner PYP berfokus pada pengembangan seluruh anak sebagai seorang pembelajar, baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Melalui kerangka kerja dan pembelajaran inkuiri, PYP di Tunas Unggul memandu siswa untuk mempertajam kemampuan akademis, sosial dan emosional, berwawasan internasional, dan nilai-nilai pribadi yang kuat.

Essential Elements of PYP

The inquiry program is organized around six transdisciplinary themes of global significance and learning about these themes underpins the program. Students address all six themes each year; Who We Are, Where We Are in Place and Time, How We Express Ourselves, How the World Works, How We Organize Ourselves, Sharing the Planet.

PYP Framework
The PYP transdisciplinary framework focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both at school and beyond. The PYP has been developed through decades of research into how students learn, how educators teach, and the principles and practice of effective assessment, the programme places a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning.

The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognising their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world. Students strive to become: Inquirers, Thinker, Communicator, Knowledgeable, Risk-Taker, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Balanced, Reflective.
